LEARNING ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES

Making Evergreen trees with handprints and curled fingers.  These can be decorated with chains, bulbs with words, stars, etc.  The hand cutouts can be used for numerous designs, including wreaths, fish, trees, the ocean, rainbows, etc.

Trace hand with marker.

Prepare to cut with scissor

Cut paper to form triangle.

Curve the paper fingers by rubbing the edges with scissors

Glue

     EVERGREEN TREE !

2 sheets of paper

Fold back and forth

Fold both directions to increase flexibility of the fold

Draw a diagonal from top to bottom

Cut a line on a zig zag

Staple the papers together on the fold

Fold both directions

Pop up and you have an Evergreen Tree

Add glitter

Great for Christmas decorations

Add cotton for snow, spreading the cotton fiber throughout the floor.
